Q: What is a Hop & Drop?
A: An Easter Eve egg delivery service. On the night before Easter, Hermon Rec staff will secretly hide candy-filled eggs at registered homes so children wake up to a magical Easter morning surprise!
Q: When will eggs be delivered?
A: Deliveries take place on Easter Eve between 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM.
Families do not need to be home, but: Pets must be secured, outdoor lights should be left on
& yards should be free of hazards
Q: What if there is snow on the ground?
A: Snow won’t stop the Bunny! If yards are snow-covered: Eggs will be hidden in visible snow-safe locations, OR
we can deliver your eggs in a bag and leave on your porch. This is a snow-or-shine event.
Q: How many homes are available?
A: 20 homes total and is first come, first served.
Q: What comes with my package?
A: Base package includes 30 candy and treat-filled plastic eggs (add-ons include: golden egg, extra dozen eggs and a personalized letter available at check out)
Q: What age is this best for?
A: Ideal for children ages 2–10, but families of all ages are welcome to participate.
Q: Do you offer allergy-friendly options?
A: We cannot guarantee allergen-free candy. Please contact us before registering if you have specific concerns.
Q: What if my child sees the delivery?
A: We do our best to keep the surprise magical! Deliveries occur after dinner hours to reduce the chance of being seen, but we cannot guarantee complete secrecy.
Q: Can I send this as a surprise to someone else?
A: Yes! You may register on behalf of a friend, neighbor, or grandparent within Hermon town limits. Please ensure delivery instructions are accurate.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel?
A: Because supplies are purchased in advance, refunds are not guaranteed. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have a concern: 848-8014
