REC Soccer - 1st & 2nd Grade Soccer
All games will take place on Saturdays beginning September 5th.Rain days will be communicated and rescheduled if possible.Teams will be released to everyone all at once after registration closes. You can make requests but DO NOT ask if teams are ready yet. If they have not been released, they are not ready.Schedules will be released AFTER teams are made to everyone at once as well.You can also access schedules on this page when they are available. You don’t need to be an expert, just someone who’s willing to help and cheer the kids on. With the Mojo app, practices are already planned for you, so all you need to bring is enthusiasm and a positive attitude. We’d love to have more people involved, whether it’s this season or in the future. If you’ve ever considered stepping in, even in a small way, now’s a great time to ask questions and learn more. We’re happy to help you get comfortable and see if it’s something you’d enjoy. This will be a 5-week program where coaches will practice with the kids for 45 minutes to 1 hour on Saturday mornings. Games against the opposing team are optional but group activities are strongly suggested.Coaches Needed1st & 2nd GradeA focus on fun, the basic fundamental skills, aspects of the game, and rules of the game. Players will be placed on teams and will participate in a 30-minute practice led by the coach, followed by a 30-minute game against another team.Coaches Needed3rd/4th & 5th/6th GradeMore advanced fundamentals, skills, team play, formation, and accountability for the rules of the game. There will be one practice a week, determined by the coach, and a game on Saturday.
